Neighborhood Watch Program

If you see–hear–smell anything unusual in Pima County either Emergency or Non emergency:

Call…   9 1 1

Neighborhood Watch (NW) is a program administered by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department through its Green Valley Volunteer Auxiliary Service (GVAS). NW is one of the oldest and most effective crime prevention programs in the country. It brings citizens together with law enforcement to deter crime and make communities safer.

Neighborhood Watch is an organization that helps residents in a particular neighborhood: prevent or reduce crime in that neighborhood, develop a positive rapport with law enforcement, and become the “eyes and ears” for law enforcement. At NW meetings, residents discuss and plan potential solutions to address the area‘s crime problems. NW is also a great way to meet and get to know your neighbors, which enhances everyone’s safety in the neighborhood.
